Don’t we come from the same African mother?

There really is no such thing as race as much as there is over played tribalism.

There is no one on this planet who is “pure” of just one “race”.

People with lighter skins don’t come from whiteland people with dark skin don’t come from blackland.

We are a human race of millions if not billions of people walking on this earth and with blood from many kinds of cultures flowing through them.

The concepts of race, religion and nationalism is really the poison that keeps humanity down and from growing to where we as a society can elevate it’s self.

The races are mixing for freely these days, and they need to, why…let’s look at biology… we need the various genetic make ups to keep the human race thriving on this planet for survival.

Lighter skins are suffering from skin cancers because of the depleted ozone layers, the future grandchildren of these “white” people are going to need a higher melanin content in their bodies.

There are various traits and genetic make ups we are carrying around with us, the more we connect, the more we join together, the more we erase these borders and tear down the walls that separate us, the stronger the human race will be.

I would totally agree with most of your points. But one thing you left out that is more powerful than any effort to tear down any walls. That is racism/white supremacy.

As long as that’s in place my place will allow be behind the 8 ball. I would love for things to be different, but I think we both know that’s just not gonna happen as it currently stands. This entire planet would have to have its memory erased before we even come close to a racial utopia. It’s just not gonna happen.

We are working on it, but it is a joint effort that has to be done by all working together.

They are flaring up their last hurrah because their days of supremacy are over.

They will not win back the place they once had, and they know it.

What we are witnessing now is their temper tantrums, like spoiled two yr olds.

The thing we must always remember and please never forget; they have the power of the law behind them and the have the most guns. And we both know that they care not for life and to take mine or yours would be like swatting a fly.

reminds me of another vid I saw called mirrors of privilege making whiteness visible. At least they admit to their racist views, I can respect that more than the fakers. it’s interesting how their ancestors gave up being whatever they were to assimilate into white America, and they expect us and poc to do the same, but we can’t, because we are different from them. It’s easy for white looking ppl to all of a sudden become a white person, its a no go for a black person to all of a sudden become white. He11 even when poc try to assimilate and just be American they get told they are not American like just look at how the racists came out when an indian American woman was crowned miss America. I just find it funny when they say I don’t see race I see a human being, then they proceed to say I have black friends rofl,

    • hunglikejesus September 19, 2013 at 10:36 AM #

It is a mess of confusion. I really don’t try to assimilate anymore than I already have which really means nothing
If I did. And I certainly don’t beg for friends.

You are correct, it’s very easy to go ahead and become white. And part of that transformation means mistreating those who can never become white.

I’m really sick of the whole thing and I just want out. I’ll find me a cabin in Rockies and have the animals as my neighbors. This society takes a toll on Black people that we haven’t even considered yet. It turns us into lessors by default and like lessors we act accordingly. We die earlier, we stay poorer longer, we get half assed educated and our children–to spite our best intentions follow suit. I don’t know what’s on the other side of this life, but it can’t be worse than this for Black people.

And I’ll leave you with this: the shit that we ignore or have just gotten use to, most other races couldn’t handle for an afternoon. Look into Black Like Me, both old and new.
