EARTHLING: a prisoner’s screed

21 Sep

this may enhance your reading pleasure, just make sure you play it low for effect:

I come from a planet called Earth.

We don’t talk much…to each other.

We walk upright, but just barely.

Our favorite pastime is war, we kill each other by the millions.

Our memories are selective and mostly short, 48 hours tops.

Willful ignorance is accepted and rewarded.

We are injected with what we should be, how we should be and where we should be.

Half of us are locked behind bars and the other half keep’s their fingers crossed.

Our information come from a can and that can comes from four people.

Our planet is a jewel in this our universe and we rape it with maximum friction and never say thank you.

Here plants are illegal and chemicals are handed out with side effects that are worst than the illness.

Our leaders are meat puppets for the wizard behind the curtain.

If you happen to be passing by this planet, please keep moving. They don’t like outsiders, hell, they don’t like me and I was born here.

We send probes to other worlds and we don’t even know our neighbors.

I love this place, where else can I go and be completely out of my mind and not stand out?

Most people live on a hand full of rice here and the rest throw food away.

We believe in fairy tales and we will kill you for them.

This planet is beautiful with landscapes and wide oceans, mountains tall, emerald rain forest with all manner beasts.

If you come for a visit just stay away from the natives.

This post summed up a lot of peoples existence. Especially about the information coming from “the can.” Great article.

Thank you Sista, it’s sad that this is our realty. The saddest part about it this is that most don’t even think about these things enough.

I’m gonna try to change the mood of this blog for minute next time. I have been told that I can get a little depressing. I guest this is why depression is my muse.

Again, thank you for stopping by.
